Exhibition Outline of Tokyo Auto Salon 2020
Tokyo, December 25, 2019 – Subaru Corporation, together with Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI)*1 , announced its exhibition outline of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2020 to be held from January 10th through 12th, 2020 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Subaru will showcase the all-new Levorg Prototype STI Sport at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2020.
At the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019, Subaru unveiled the all-new Levorg Prototype. The all-new Levorg is a performance wagon taking full advantage of Subaru’s latest technologies and with this vehicle, Subaru envisions creating “a future that everyone can enjoy driving at their fullest, at their will” in an era where autonomous driving technology is widely spreading.
The all-new Levorg Prototype STI Sport to be unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2020 will be exhibited as a symbol of the future of Subaru’s driving performance, with Subaru and STI working together to further enhance the driving performance of the all-new Levorg.
In addition, custom concept models based on SUBARU BRZ STI Sport and WRX S4 STI Sport will together propose the enjoyment of driving that Subaru and STI can offer.
As for racing cars, the class winning “WRX STI NBR Challenge 2019” for Nürburgring 24-Hour Race, the “SUBARU BRZ GT300 2019” for Super GT race and a WRX STI rally car competed in Japan Rally Championship 2019 will be exhibited as symbols of STI’s continuous challenge in the field of motorsport.
In the press conference to be held from 11:00 on January 10th, an overview of Subaru motorsport activities for 2020 will be also announced.

■ All-New Levorg Prototype STI Sport
The all-new Levorg, which incorporates the latest technology of Subaru such as the SUBARU GLOBAL PLATFORM with a full inner frame construction, the newly developed 1.8L horizontally-opposed direct injection turbo engine and the new generation EyeSight driver assist system, delivers both sportiness and quality feel at very high level in its driving performance, and realizes a truly pleasing driving experience for all drivers and passengers.
With Subaru and STI working together, the all-new Levorg Prototype STI Sport fully draws out the potential of the all-new Levorg and proposes the future of Subaru’s driving performance which offers further enjoyment of driving.
■ SUBARU BRZ STI Sport (custom concept model)
The concept model based on the SUBARU BRZ sport coupe features the front spoiler and the swan-neck shaped rear spoiler both inspired by the SUBARU BRZ GT300 competing in the SUPER GT race series to maximize cornering performance of the SUBARU BRZ.
The concept model also visually stimulates the driver’s mind with the special exterior color “GALACTIC WR Blue Metallic” and the interior coordinated with silver and red featuring exclusively designed RECARO*2 sport seats.
■ WRX S4 STI Sport (custom concept model)
The custom concept model based on WRX S4 STI Sport is designed to further improve the driving performance of the WRX S4 by adding rear carbon wing, 19-inch aluminum wheels, STI performance parts, etc.
Same as SUBARU BRZ STI Sport (custom concept model), this concept model features “GALACTIC WR Blue Metallic” exterior and the interior coordinated with silver and red featuring exclusively designed RECARO*2 sport seats.
