< Production >
- | Domestic production decreased as operations at the company’s Gunma plant were halted for four and a half days due to Typhoon Hagibis (Typhoon 19) damage to a part of the supply chains. |
- | While production of the Ascent increased, overseas production decreased as production volume of the all-new Legacy and Outback models was controlled in order to ensure quality of new vehicles before ramp-up. (Production of the two models started at the end of July.) |
< Sales in Japan >
- | Passenger vehicle sales decreased due to production halt at the Gunma plant and a decrease in demand for the Forester as momentum boosted by the launch of its fully-redesigned version waned. |
- | Mini vehicle sales decreased as sales of the Sambar and other models declined. |
< Exports >
- | Exports from Japan decreased due to production halt at the Gunma plant. |
