< Production >

Domestic production increased year-on-year, as strong demand for the Subaru XV in key markets including Japan, North America and Australia offset the impact of production shift of the Impreza for North America from Japan to the U.S.
Overseas production increased year-on-year, driven by production of the Impreza for North America which started in November 2016.

< Sales in Japan >

Passenger vehicle sales increased year-on-year, the Impreza and the Subaru XV.
Mini vehicle sales decreased year-on-year due to decreased sales of the Stella.

< Exports >

Exports from Japan decreased year-on-year due to decreased exports to North America and Europe.
