Subaru Corporation Announces Organizational Changes
and Change in Executive Officer's Area of Responsibility
(Effective January 1, 2024)
Tokyo, January 9, 2024 – Subaru Corporation announces the following organizational changes and a change in the area of responsibility for an executive officer, which took effect on January 1, 2024.
1. Organizational Changes
Automotive Business Unit
― Renaming Saitama Manufacturing Plant to Kitamoto Plant and Changing the Facility’s Function
We have renamed the Saitama Manufacturing Plant (formerly an industrial product manufacturing facility), previously utilized as a parts logistics warehouse, to the Kitamoto Plant.
The Kitamoto Plant is preparing for the production of transmissions for the next generation HEV models, which will be produced starting in 2025.
Organizationally, the Kitamoto Plant belongs under the Gunma Manufacturing Plant.
