SUBARU was awarded two contracts of SUBARU BELL 412EPX Helicopters
from Nara Prefecture and Miyazaki Prefecture

Tokyo, October 18, 2023 – Subaru Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two contracts of SUBARU BELL 412EPX from Nara Prefecture and Miyazaki Prefecture. These helicopters are scheduled to be delivered to the customers in 2025. The helicopters are expected to be used for firefighting, rescue, emergency medical services and information gathering. With these contracts, the total number of SUBARU BELL 412EPX orders in the commercial market in Japan has reached nine.

The SUBARU BELL 412EPX has commonalities with the BELL 412EP that Nara Prefecture and Miyazaki Prefecture currently own. Therefore, it enables smooth introduction and transition by utilizing the existing resources. In addition to that, the SUBARU BELL 412EPX provides better operational capability and efficiency with improved performance such as extended hover ceiling and increased useful load.
