Update on Subaru's US Plant Operations Following the Midwest Tornado Hits

Tokyo, November 20, 2013 – Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that its US manufacturing plant, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA), has resumed its regular operations. While the tornadoes caused some facility damages including the blown-off roofs, the production was resumed on November 19 after the plant confirmed the operational safety and production quality.
FHI also announced that the tornado damage impact on the company's financial performance for the fiscal 2014 (April 1, 2013 – March 31, 2014) is expected to be limited.
