Led by strong demand for the Impreza, passenger car production in Japan rose year on year for the 11th consecutive month, posting an all-time record for the month of August. Overseas production also kept its momentum, marking the 12th straight month of year-on-year increase with a record number for August. Global production grew from the previous year for the 11th month in a row, setting an all-time record for Subaru's August production. |
