Led by strong demand for the all-new Impreza, July production of passenger cars in Japan increased from last year for the 10th consecutive month, setting an all-time monthly record for domestic production of passenger cars. Overseas production kept its momentum, recording the 11th straight month of year-on-year growth. Global production rose from a year ago for the 10th month in a row.

With strong sales of the Legacy and Impreza series, July passenger car sales in Japan increased from previous year for the 2nd month in a row. Total Japan sales were up from a year ago for the 10th consecutive month.
