FHI Reschedules Summer Holidays at Subaru Plants in Japan
Tokyo, June 14, 2011 - Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that it will temporarily reschedule summer holidays at all Subaru plants in Japan to the period from August 10 through 19 (10 days), considering improved situation of parts supply. FHI previously announced its summer holiday period from August 4 through 19 (16 days) at Subaru plants. There will be no change in summer holiday schedule for other FHI facilities in Japan.
FHI sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience being experienced by customers due to delayed delivery of new vehicles since the major earthquake. FHI realizes the considerable inconvenience this decision may cause our customers, business partners, suppliers and dealers, and greatly appreciates their understanding.
