<March 2011> Due to the production suspension affected by the major earthquake in northeastern Japan, the domestic production for March decreased sixth consecutive month year-on-year. In spite of the ovearseas production set an all-time March record, the global production decreased for the first time in seventeen months year-on-year. |

<FY 2011> The domestic production of passenger cars for the period April 2010 through March 2011set an all-time record due to the increased production of Legacy, Forester and Impreza for ovearseas markets. Reflecting the strong sales of Legacy in North America, the ovearseas production set an all-time record, and the global production for the period April 2010 through March 2011 increased year-on-year for the first time in two years. |
